Bringing home a new puppy is exciting, but it can also feel like a lot.
There’s so much information out there, and it’s easy to feel unsure about what you should be doing, when to start, and how to do it the right way.
This consultation is designed to help you feel more confident, prepared, and set up for success from the start.
This is a one time, in person consultation where we go over everything you need to get started with your puppy. Whether you’re preparing before your puppy comes home or already in the middle of it, this session helps give you direction and clarity so you’re not just guessing your way through things.
WHAT WE COVER
We’ll go through the things that matter most early on, including:
- Setting up your home and routine
- Potty training and crate training
- Building engagement and communication
- How to introduce basic obedience
- Using markers, luring, and shaping in a practical way
- Proper play and structure
- Socialization (without overwhelming your puppy)
- Getting your puppy comfortable with handling, sounds, and new environments
The goal is to give you a clear starting point and a plan you can actually follow at home.
A lot of common issues we see later, like reactivity, lack of structure, or poor impulse control, start with gaps in early training. Getting things set up correctly from the beginning makes everything easier as your puppy grows.

Puppy Kickstart Board & Train
Investment: $2,625
Starting Age: 14 weeks to 4.5 months
The Puppy Kickstart Board & Train is designed to give your puppy a strong, structured start during one of the most important stages of development. This 3 week program is ideal for puppies between 14 weeks and 5 months old and focuses on building the foundation they’ll carry into adulthood.
Early training isn’t just about teaching commands, it’s about building confidence, creating structure, and helping your puppy learn how to navigate the world around them. During their stay, your puppy will live in my home and be part of a structured daily routine while working through training in real life, every day situations.
WHAT WE FOCUS ON
Throughout the program, we’ll work on:
- Crate training structure
- Confidence building
- Appropriate socialization and exposure
- Engagement and communication
- Foundational obedience
- Body handling
Your puppy will begin being introduced to commands like sit, down, place, come, kennel, and heel, while also being exposed to new people, environments, sounds, and surfaces in a controlled and thoughtful way.
We’ll also work through common puppy behaviors and help build better habits early on.
What you do during this stage has a huge impact on how your dog develops. A structured start can help prevent a lot of the common issues owners run into later, and makes everything feel more manageable as your puppy grows.

- Weekly private lessons during the program
